Program Today:
Dave Nicoson introduced our program speakers today. We had Menessa Nelson who is the director for Junior Achievement (JA) and Jenni Higgins who is the program coordinator for JA. Junior achievement is the longest running financial literacy program around. They go into the classrooms starting at elementary school level all the way up to high school. Right now 30 counties are being served. We are the third largest county being served by JA Indiana. During lemonade day this year one stand made over $500 dollars. They had just a little over 400 lemonade day stands this year. Menessa made mention that the appreciation breakfast will be held on June 15th from 7:30-8:30am at the Learner Theater in the the Crystal Ballroom.
