Program Today:
Brian Clark introduced our guest speaker Kyle Hannon. Kyle works as the president of the Elkhart Chamber. He spoke to us on a variety of different things that they are trying to do to keep people waiting to stay in the area. He mentioned vibrant communities is something that is in the works now. With the vibrant community efforts it would create community conversations and focus on the cities and towns. They are hoping to bring about the concept of loving your community. So far there has just been a lot of community conversations going on. The next step after that would be to compile all the findings, create an action plan, and then get to work.
Kyle mentioned how many tourists love to come to Elkhart County to see the quilt gardens, attend the jazz festival. He also stated that We are obtaining more art throughout downtown.
Our role in helping the community to grow is to participate in anything that is going on and in the opportunities that allow us to speak our thoughts and concerns, support, and sell.
