Steve Thomas presented a Paul Harris level 6 to John Place.
District Governor Ran Jan Kini will be here on August 3rd. Ross would like board members to meet with him at 10:45am.
Club assembly will take place on July 27th. Ross would like everyone to try to be there for that.
Ross gave a sheet to everyone to show what committee they are on. He said if you are more passionate about another committee he said to switch but please let him know so he can make that change.
Jeanie Stuckey mom passed away on Saturday July 16th.
Dave Leatherman asked that everyone RSVP to the summer cookout.
Program Today:
Phil Keller came to us today and spoke about what the Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network does and what their plans are for the future. He has been with the Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network for four years now. The Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network has been operating for 21 years. They have 18 partnering churches. Out of those 18 churches, 10 of them are churches that host families and they have about 700 hundred volunteers. They host about 5 families at a time. The families move about every seven days to a different location. Right now they have come up with an idea about a fixed site shelter. Phil is working on this idea with Ross Swihart who works with Faith Mission.
