Taste of the Gardens is August 27th from 11:00am-6:00pm. A sign up sheet was passed around if anyone would like to sign up and volunteer.
Rotary summer picnic is August 20th at 3:30. It will be held at Dave and Julia's lake cottage. Please RSVP so they can plan accordingly.
Program Today:
Nancy Keller introduced the district governor Ran Jan Kini. He mentioned that we are number 32 out of 34 clubs. He also showed us a map and on that map were 56 dots that represented rotary clubs in the state of Indiana. There are three Elkhart Clubs. Ran Jan also mentioned how rotary is an experience. We help give hope where there is no hope at times. He did mention that he would like the different clubs to focus on getting more young professionals and that the use of technology will be increasing. If someone is not well trained in the technology, Ran Jan said they will help get that person trained. He encouraged us to attend the Rotary Convention as well. Which the convention will be held in Atlanta this year.
